Responsibilities As a SEN Teacher, your duties will include: Planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons to students with special educational needs ( SEN ). Monitoring and tracking students' progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Providing support and encouragement to students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Collaborating with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent, and experience in teaching students with SEN. A passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners. A patient, empathetic approach to supporting students. A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
