Bluebird Care Stafford currently have an amazing opportunity to join our Dynamic team as a Care Supervisor The role will consist of working in a fast-past office environment as well as out in the field. We are passionate about providing excellent care to our customers and our supervisors are responsible for overseeing this whilst supporting our Care Assistants in their role. The successful Candidate will have: A full UK driving licence and access to your own car. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Health & Social Care and in delivering hands-on care to customers. A minimum of NVQ Level 2 / or Equivalent in Health & Social Care Excellent IT skills A flexible approach and a “can-do” attitude The ability to work as a team and on your own initiative Previous experience in creating person-centred care and support plans Previous experience in carrying out assessments of risk Knowledge of the regulatory body requirements (CQC) including the key lines of enquiry Care Supervisor responsibilities include: Providing support and supervision to our Care Assistants, ensuring they are delivering the best possible care to our customers. Carrying out initial assessments of customer requirements working directly with our customers or their representatives to create bespoke care & support plans Carrying out risk assessments and implementing control measures Carrying out regular observational competency checks on Care Assistants in the field. Building positive working relationships with customers, Care Assistants and other care professionals and stakeholders. Having an eye for detail to identify any errors or anomalies, and the ability to respond to these in a timely and effective manner. Take part in the out of hours on call rota, providing support to customers & Care Assistants out of normal office hours. Training and induction of new staff.
