Your Key Responsibilities:
1. 1:1 Support: Be the go-to person for a child with ASD, guiding them through their school day.
2. Enhance Communication: Help children develop their communication, speech, and learning skills in a supportive and patient way.
3. Mentorship: Provide guidance and encouragement, helping students make positive choices for learning and behaviour.
4. Facilitate Growth: Engage with children during unstructured times, developing creative activities that build social skills and confidence.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Compassion & Patience: You’re passionate about working with children and have a natural understanding of their needs.
2. ASD Experience: You have recent experience working with children who have ASD and understand the challenges they may face.
3. Behaviour Management: Strong behaviour management skills to guide children in making the right choices.
4. Proactive Attitude: You’re eager to create engaging, fun activities that help children thrive in a structured yet creative environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
