Coalesce Management Consultancy (CMC) have a consulting assignment available for a Mechanical procurement engineer to work on a flagship EFW project in North Wales. This is an Outside-IR35 deployment allowing for LTD company engagement.

Job Details:
* Initial 12 Month contract outside-Ir35 (extension/redeployment likely)
* Monday-friday work schedule
* Project location - North Wales

* Construction experience is essential

Job Specification:
* Responsible for end-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier / contract management,
* Identify and put into effect the measures by analyzing the necessary risks and opportunities for reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO),
* Analyze supplier and subcontractor offers and interpret the most appropriate purchasing goal,
* Carry out negotiations with suppliers, coordinate the local contracts with the Project Manager, to obtain approval for contracts from the Main Office Contracts and Procurement Departments
* Creating new material alternatives and checking the usability of these materials in the project with the Technical Office Department,
* Deliver on time the orders of materials needed by the construction site with making sure the material must be quality approved,
* Coordinate and execute logistics and imports process with Head Office Procurement Department
* Continually track the supply market, keeping abreast of developments, trends, risks, and opportunities, leading the continual engagement with existing and potential suppliers and ahead of external market factors.
* Check the warehouse activities (consumables, goods receipt, transfer)
* Prepare related procurement reports/presentation.
Qualifications:
* ERP software experience - preferably SAP
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Stakeholder and supplier management
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Procurement Experience in Mechanical & Electrical Contracting Projects
* Minimum 5 years of experience
* Preferably with knowledge of UK Market
