Global Supply Chain Manager, Global Supply Management
Ring, part of Amazon Devices, is looking for smart, collaborative, and motivated professionals to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with strong judgment, strategic decision-making skills, and a proactive approach to continually expanding knowledge of Ring, Amazon’s business, platform, and technology.
This exciting and challenging position will provide product sustainability support to the Global Supply Chain Management (GSM) team. We are seeking an ODM/OEM Materials Specialist who will play a key role in managing contract manufacturers and driving collaboration across the end-to-end supply chain.
The GSM team oversees finished product planning, ensuring effective supply and demand coordination, accountability management, and inventory control for Ring’s supply chain at Amazon. Unlike traditional approaches, we leverage a centralized platform to improve supply chain efficiency, procurement processes, and risk management by enabling seamless collaboration, supplier support flexibility, and risk assessment.

Key Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for the NPI projects management of all builds to ensure meeting validation milestone.
• Work with the assigned functional leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables, highlighting key program risks and putting plans in place to mitigate those risks, providing regular reports/updates on program status. This includes identification and mitigation of long-term supply chain risks presented by new designs.
• Act as a primary role to escalating supply constraints and involving cross function to secure long-term solution.
• Be able to foresee the risks and come up with solid and manageable buy ahead plan.
• Develop a risk buy plan to ensure on-time delivery and eliminate the excess and obsolete impact.
• Perform regular supply and demand analysis for critical materials with 2nd tiers.
• Active engagement in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes.
• Timely E&O review and validation with ODMs to identify and mitigate Ring exposure.
• Prepare and provide business reviews and executive communication to the senior management team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Material supply chain knowledge for high volume and high mix manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge on factory operations and manufacturing process
• Ability to develop efficient work processes for complex projects involving many groups, across multiple geographies and effectively coordinate, implement, and maintain those processes
• Demonstrated experience interacting with cross-functional teams (internally & externally) with the ability for effective communication
• Deals well with complicated situations and are proactive in building and maintaining a network of effective relationships
• Readily and easily switches gears in response to unexpected events and circumstances
• Analyzes, explains, and draws logical conclusions based on complex and ambiguous data from multiple content areas
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 8+ years working experience in high-tech manufacturing, consumer electronics, and supply chain
• Significant experience in a variety of manufacturing and/or planning environments
• Background in managing international relationships and remote organizations
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
