Exciting Opportunity: Site Supervisor at Wernick Refurbished Buildings!
Location: Ideally a maximum of 1.5 hours of our depot in York but the role will be based on site - therefore you must be comfortable working away from home on a regular basis

The Role: Site Supervisor
As our Site Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind the on-site operations for modular building projects. From delivery and installation to fit-outs and final touches, you’ll be responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and on time. You’ll coordinate sub-contractors, liaise with clients, and manage all the daily site activities that bring these modular structures to life. This role will keep you on your toes, with plenty of variety and opportunities to make a big impact.
About The Role
What You’ll Do:
* To manage day-to-day operational aspects of the on-site project, in relation to the installation and fit out of modular buildings of varying sizes.
* To manage the onsite delivery, craneage and installation of all units and ancillary services.
* To act as the single point of contact onsite for all sub-contractors and the client.
* To provide weekly site reports, in the correct formats.
* To carry out and supervise site installations and dismantles.
* To provide onsite inductions, and ensure all RAMS are understood and signed up to.
* To provide all details of any variations that occur on a project, to the project team.
* Inspection of potential acquired buildings, report quality of buildings and provide competitive cost of removal including crane, transport and dismantle etc.
* Ensure the onsite project is running as it should be and in conjunction with the strict H&S standards expected by the company.
* To liaise with all stakeholders where necessary.
* Issuing of permits, approvals, and Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA).
* Control of waste management and segregation.
Responsibilities:
* To be based on site, therefore there will be working away from home.
* To ensure that all standard WRB procedures are strictly adhered to.
* To keep the Project Director informed of all onsite works, in conjunction with the company reporting procedures.
* To meet agreed target dates as agreed with the client.
* To be jointly responsible with the Project Controller for monitoring of the costs incurred for projects to ensure that we report their profitability accurately.
* To execute project programs and revise as appropriate to meeting changing needs and requirements.
* To ensure that all project H&S documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately.
* To manage all sub-contractors.
* To have a broad knowledge in off-site construction and the installation and fit out processes in modular construction.
* To communicate in a professional manner with the client.
General:
As a representative of the Company, the Site Supervisor must at all times present himself/herself in a smart and efficient manner. This includes dressing in an appropriate manner and keeping any Company equipment, including the company van, in a serviceable and clean state.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Strong industry knowledge, in modular building. (essential)
* CPCS A62 Lift Supervisor (desired)
* SMSTS (essential)
* CSCS Black Card – Supervisor level (desired)
* CSCS (essential)
* Driving Licence (essential)
* Experience managing on-site teams and working to tight deadlines.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for getting things done

* A61/A62 Appointed Person or Lift Supervisor qualification

* CSCS Card is essential - black ideally
