As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) in AWS Industries India segment, you are responsible for partnering with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services. You have technical depth, business aptitude, and the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of the AWS platform and services. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required for engaging and influencing Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, VPs, and CXOs.
AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.
As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.
AIML and GenAI Specialist Solutions Architects combine technical skills in AIML, GenAI, and business acumen. They are focused on supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the account teams and other teams that support implementation, including AWS Professional Services and Partners. SSAs unblock customers and help them get to production faster.

Key job responsibilities
1. Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as with developers and technical architects, to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
2. Architect solutions leveraging AWS machine learning, AI, and Generative AI specific services, working closely with customers to deeply understand their business needs and design technical solutions that optimize the use of the AWS Cloud platform and AI/ML Services.
3. Develop and support an internal AWS community of AI/ML Subject Matter Experts, fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
4. Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
5. Collaborate with the Account team and lead to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
6. Create field enablement materials for the internal and external tech community.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technology domain experience in Data Science, LLM, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in ML-Ops and ML solution production deployments.
- 5+ years of experience as enterprise/cloud architect including experience in data processing and analytics workloads.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, model development, common frameworks, workflow tools, and applied AI.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years design & implementation experience with large distributed applications.
- 5+ years of experience in core disciplines like AIML, Generative AI, and Data Science.
- Professional experience architecting, operating cloud-based solutions or pre-sales consulting.
- Certification - AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty.
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- Experience with a programming or scripting language.
- Able to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly, and manage high ambiguity.
