Client Reporting Analyst
We are currently recruiting for an analyst to join our client reporting team on a permanent basis working in our Glasgow office.
Maven’s client reporting team provides reporting services across Maven’s client base, delivering a wide range of internal and external reports.
The role will involve working with client reporting and investment colleagues to support the preparation of key internal and external reports, principally for Maven’s Venture Capital Trust (VCT) clients and Maven Investor Partners.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with strong analytical, communication, writing, and numerical skills to thrive in a dynamic environment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided and there is potential to develop and expand within this role.

The role & responsibilities
* Co-ordinate the compilation of quarterly portfolio reporting packs for Maven’s VCT clients
* Data input and update into Maven’s internal reporting software system
* Assistance in the preparation of the VCT Annual and Interim Reports
* Close reading/review of numerous internal/external reports, performing quality control function, checking inputs for accuracy and resolving anomalies
* Assistance in the preparation of the reports for Maven Investor Partners 6 monthly reports
* Involvement in various ad hoc projects
* Liaise with colleagues across the business to ensure client reporting deadlines are achieved and quality standards are maintained
What you need to succeed
* Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to draft clear, engaging narrative
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills, particularly the ability to manage time, multitask and adhere to client deadlines
* Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and ability to think ahead and plan work schedule
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with colleagues
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn internal systems
