Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to join our team at YFR. Reporting to the Business Operations Admin Manager, you will play a key role in supporting general administrative tasks, including processing DBS checks for subcontractors, managing payments, performing reconciliations, and assisting with bookkeeping. Role Overview: You will be responsible for helping the team maintain smooth operations and support our mission by: Assisting with general administrative tasks, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Processing DBS checks for subcontractors and ensuring compliance. Supporting payments and payment reconciliation across various accounts. Assisting with bookkeeping, ensuring financial records are up to date. Supporting the Business Operations Admin Manager with any other tasks as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in an administrative or finance role Familiarity with basic financial tasks such as payments, reconciliations, and bookkeeping. Knowledge of compliance processes (e.g., DBS checks) is advantageous but not required. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to multitask and manage a variety of tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to adapt and work across multiple tasks or projects at once. Strong organisational and time-management skills. This is a part-time onsite role, based in Amersham, with a minimum of two full working days required (10:00 am - 6:00 pm). Due to the location, you will need to live within walking distance or have your own transport. There is potential for the role to become full-time for the right candidate. Due to the nature of our business, you will also need to pass referencing and DBS checks.
