What you’ll be doing: Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people, supporting them to achieve their full potential. Providing day-to-day support while ensuring the highest safeguarding and care standards are met. Leading shifts, mentoring team members, and overseeing placement plans, policies, and procedures. Collaborating with external professionals to support the educational, emotional, and physical wellbeing of children in care. Acting as a role model to both staff and young people while helping maintain a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. What you’ll need: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce (or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential childcare. A valid manual driving licence.
