Location: WN3 Pay: £150 – £230 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Start Date: Immediate The Role – Food Technology Teacher: Teach Design & Technology – Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students Deliver high-quality, practical lessons covering areas such as healthy eating, food safety, nutrition, dietary needs, and meal preparation Create a safe and stimulating environment in specialist food rooms and kitchens Contribute to curriculum planning and the school’s focus on life skills and future readiness Work collaboratively with other DT specialists within a well-established department Provide individualised support and encourage creativity and independence in pupils The Ideal Candidate: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a Design Technology-related subject. Strong subject knowledge in food preparation, health & safety, and nutrition education.
