The Senior Nursing Assistants also have a leadership role, supporting students, the band 2 Nursing Assistants and also the newly qualified registered nurses.
We actively support the buddy programme and other opportunities to develop further. Some of our Nursing assistants have gone on to be successful applicants to the Apprentice Nursing Associate programme.
These are for full time positions and if ward areas you will be required to work long days, weekends and nights

In order to be part of our Senior Nursing Assistant (Band 3) team, we would like you to have the following qualifications:
Substantial experience in a hospital setting
Evidence of General Education e.g. GCSE or equivalent / NVQ III in Healthcare
A Completed Care Certificate Programme
A calm and kind approach
Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills in caring for complex patients with medical conditions.
