Instrument and Electrical Maintenance Roles
We have excellent immediate INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE opportunities, based on the Sellafield Site in West Cumbria.
The successful candidates will be performing routine maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems. You will also carry out project work, breakdown repairs, and safe isolations, including temperature loop proof testing, HVAC, and security systems. Industrial electrical/instrumentation experience and PLC knowledge would be advantageous.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES
Criteria:
1. Time served Instrument Mechanic or Electrician with instrument experience, holding a recognised apprenticeship (e.g. NVQ level 3 Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent).
2. Able to understand single-line electrical drawings, instructions, and manuals.
3. Self-motivated, driven, and resilient.
4. Able to make correct and informed decisions under pressure.
5. Evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy, and resilience.
6. Required to become appointed as a Nominated Person.
7. Demonstrate knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance requirements associated with their area.
8. Knowledge of maintenance programmes and company standards/industry best practices.
9. IOSHH Working Safely certification.
WORKING HOURS
Our client is currently piloting a 4-day work pattern. This work pattern is designed to provide workers with greater flexibility, which in turn supports their work-life balance while maintaining company standards of service. Overtime may also be available.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Candidates must be eligible for Security clearance, if not already held. We invite applications from candidates who hold British Citizenship and who have not worked outside the UK for the past 5 years. Further Developed Vetting may be applied for in due course.
