Information about the Specialty: We see approximately 176,000 patients per year across two hospital sites. There are co-located Primary care and Same Day Emergency Care services (SDEC) which operate seven days a week. The department employs a range of allied health professionals to support the delivery of the service and is continuing to expand these roles. There is a continuing process of developing pathways with our acute specialties, to ensure streamlining and provide the highest standard of care.
We currently have 32 established middle grade posts and are recruiting to additional posts. Successful candidates would be working as part of a well-established team of Specialty Doctors, CESR trainees, and Higher Specialty Trainees in Emergency Medicine.
