Come and join the team as a Site Engineer on an exciting project based at Aylesbury. You will be tasked with preparing the construction site and providing measurement data crucial for controlling all aspects of the onsite construction work. To thrive in this role, you must showcase robust analytical and mathematical skills, maintain a keen eye for detail, and possess outstanding communication abilities. Additionally, you should have extensive experience in performing complex measurements, analyzing data, and meticulously documenting results for a range of intricate projects. Moreover, proficiency in using current and relevant software essential for their daily tasks is imperative for the senior surveyor. Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm Responsibilities Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, models and reports. Verifying data and calculations. Recording results of surveys. Calculating the measurements of sites. Ensure the construction site is ready for commencement. This can include working with detailed site plans and models ready for work to begin. The job role of a setting out engineer involves the following duties: Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site Working with site plans, drawings and construction information models Mapping works on the ground using relevant markers Liaising with designers, site team and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurately set out onsite Overseeing quality control of subcontractors surveying works Monitoring health and safety onsite Keeping a site diary Resolving technical problems Working in an office and on a construction site. Requirements A solid foundation in numeracy skills, along with a strong capability to perform mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently.
