The Role
The Senior Financial Accountant fulfils all Financial Accounting duties and supports the Deputy Finance Director Financial Services with the external audit for the subsidiaries, University and Group and the preparation of the annual financial statements.
You will collaborate closely with the external and internal auditors, providing key insights, addressing complex queries, and ensuring timely completion of the annual audit for the University and its subsidiaries.
You will maintain the integrity of the Balance Sheets for all entities, and prepare the annual unaudited accounts for the Unified Trust Fund which the University administers on behalf of beneficiaries.
You will also mentor and coach the Assistant Financial Accountant Apprentice.
