Reporting to the Contract Manager the Electrician will be responsible for undertaking various electrical tasks including inspection & testing and condition reporting for new installation work, minor works projects, refurbishment works and planned maintenance tasks in order to achieve a high level of service delivery. Work either as part of a maintenance team for larger installations under the instruction of a local site supervisor or work independently on minor works projects without local supervision. Be a team member by being a part of the emergency on call rota Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times. Have sufficient knowledge of the current IET wiring regulations ensuring all works meet the requirements of the current IET wiring regulations. Undertake a range of installation and completion tasks including but not limited to single and three phase low voltage distribution cabling and equipment, steel & PVC trunking/tray/conduit containment, final circuit cabling, second fix final termination of wiring accessories, data networking, HVAC controls, fault finding, inspection & testing. Undertake a range of electrical planned and reactive maintenance tasks diligently and professionally Undertake fault finding on various electrical systems such as on lighting and power as well as heating and ventilation systems Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract. Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support. Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered Have a sound understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and associated IET guidance documents in relation to best practice and principals. About You Essential Criteria: C&G Lv 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade Hold a minimum of 5 years experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance AM2 18th Edition Current Full UK Drivers License Registered ECS card Experience in planned & reactive maintenance Knowledge and experience of fault finding on HVAC equipment Will be required to take an enhanced DBS check and National Police Vetting check Desirable Criteria: Experience in planned & reactive maintenance CSR Site Supervisors Gold Card High Voltage awareness training Please note that Applicants will not be expected to meet any (or all) of the desirable criteria to be considered for interview.
