The Governing Body of this successful 11-16 school is seeking to appoint an Exams Officer to be responsible for the running of exams, making exam entries and amendments, issuing of results and securing staff for invigilating.
You are:
* Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a school setting
* Well-organised and proactive with strong administrative and ICT skills and attention to detail
* An excellent communicator, with good people skills and a supportive team player
* Flexible, responsive and self-motivated
* Confident in handling confidential/sensitive data and information and to working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
You will:
* Plan and manage the exam timetable, ensure proper invigilation, and oversee the secure handling of exam materials.
* Maintain secure storage and retrieval of coursework and exam data, advise teachers on regulations, and prepare examination reports.
* Oversee coursework processes, coordinate moderation and submission deadlines, and liaise on fees and payments.
* Monitor and control the examinations office budget to ensure efficient use of funds.
* Outside of the exam period the successful candidate will provide whole school admin support as required.
