Marketing Executive (Retail, Delivery & International)
We have an exciting role to join as our next Marketing Executive in the Brand team.
The role requires a high level of collaboration as well as creative and commercial thinking. With one foot in our Soho HQ to execute campaigns for our Dine Out Channels (Delivery and Retail) and another spanning the globe, to support our international team support hub.
Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager (International and Channel) this role will:
* Develop content and activate plans to support our retail and delivery/collection businesses
* Connect our core business with our international markets to ensure the teams have the content and assets to stand out, differentiate and grow, whilst standing consistently as a brand alongside our UK&I business
Working hand in hand with our aggregator partners, you will be responsible for developing and delivering national & regional campaigns for the delivery and retail channels to achieve key brand and commercial goals / KPIs; clearly differentiating PizzaExpress and providing delivery and retail customers with compelling reasons to visit and purchase, ensuring PizzaExpress is top of mind for consumers in the UK&I.
You will activate joint campaigns with key strategic partners/suppliers such as Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats and Bakkhavor, Bakeaway etc.
What you'll be doing:
* Implementation of delivery & retail campaigns from briefing agency through to implementation in restaurants, supermarkets and online delivery platforms, including: channel planning and optimisation, creative development, print & POS management.
* Responsible for PizzaExpress (PEX) and Milano brand consistency through our partners and suppliers, checking any design including brand logo or visuals
* Manage delivery & retail marketing budget, raise POs, attend weekly budget meeting with finances
* Manage internal communication about delivery & retail campaigns e.g. KEL, week ahead etc..
* Take ownership of the brand presence on online delivery platforms (owned PEX delivers and aggregators): logo, copy, imagery
* Attend internal & external weekly/fortnightly marketing, retail and delivery meetings, relay updates on campaigns and follow up actions / minutes
* Prepare weekly trade update on retail & delivery channels
* Identify and leverage local insight & trends to ensure that all international strategic and creative proposals support each market's individual business challenges and needs
What you'll need:
* Experience in a similar marketing role in Hospitality, Restaurants or similar
* Experience executing successful consumer campaigns, ideally within the retail or delivery industry
* A creative eye who is tuned in to cultural and creative trends and will push the boundaries to ensure we get true stand out activations into the market.
* Very good attention to detail
* Strong interest in food and travel
