Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Care and Support Assistant at our CQC Registered, Learning & Physical Disabilities Service, Tollemache Respite Service.

The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:
* Delivering sensitive care and expert support to our customers
* Encouraging resident integration and inclusion into the community
* Promoting a positive culture by engaging with residents to prevent social isolation
* Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments
* Managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our customers
* Sleep-ins (as and when required)
* General cleaning and cooking
* Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
Skills and experiences:
* Personalised approach to care, ideally with experience of working in a similar, care related role
* Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
* Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
* Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
* NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
