Nivus Limited is a market-leading organisation that manufactures, supplies, installs, and maintains high-end flow measurement solutions for the Water Utilities and Environment Agencies.

What we need from you as a Field Service Engineer:
You will hold a qualification in instrumentation/electrical, electronics/engineering, or other applicable experience in a high-tech environment
Possess good analytical skills, able to troubleshoot and problem-solve
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Good IT skills
Able to work based from home
Have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and in writing
Independent, service-minded, and educational in the approach toward customers
A strong team contributor, working remotely with the ability to connect with colleagues in the wider team
Hold a UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
Knowledge of Flow Measurement Instrumentation and Hydrometry
Water Utility experience
What the role involves:
Reporting to the Technical Manager your role will include:
Working in a diverse and exciting range of locations spread throughout the UK
Performing field service activities, including on-site installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and system repairs
Solving a broad range of hardware and/or software problems of varying scope and complexity
Coordinating your work schedule with direct colleagues, service operations, and management
Instructing customers in the use of our instruments to ensure safe and effective customer operations
Providing proactive and responsive technical telephone and email support, ensuring that our customers are successful in the use of their instrumentation
Producing timely and accurate reports of your activities: e.g. service reports and expense reports
Assuring the highest level of customer experience to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Providing sales leads to the account manager
Providing feedback to support teams for correcting system documentation and updating procedures.
Salary/hours: £38,000 - £42,000 per year, depending on experience. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am 5pm 40 hours per week.
