Marketing Manager

This new role for Maru plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Maru UK’s services.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing Marketing Strategies
* Planning & Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and ultimately boost sales.
* Target Audience Identification: Define target audiences and develop tailored marketing approaches to appeal to specific customer segments.
* Competitor Research: Conduct research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity.
* Trends Awareness: Keep abreast of emerging marketing trends, new technologies, and industry best practices.
* Innovation in Marketing: Introduce new ideas and strategies to stay ahead of competitors and capture customer attention.
2. Campaign Management
* Campaign Design & Execution: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., digital, social media, email, print, etc.).
* Campaign Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, adjust tactics as needed, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring funds are allocated effectively across different campaigns and initiatives.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives and priorities.
* Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners where applicable for campaign execution.
3. Content Development & Management
* Brand Messaging: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, maintaining a consistent tone of voice and positioning.
* Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content such as blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, video, and promotional materials.
* Creative Direction: Guide the creative direction of marketing materials and campaigns to ensure they resonate with the target audience.
* Develop lead generation strategies and nurture leads through email campaigns and content marketing.
* Social Media Oversight: Oversee social media accounts and engage with customers on LinkedIn.
* Website & SEO Optimisation: Ensure the company's website is optimised for user experience, lead generation, and search engines.
4. Performance Analysis & Reporting
* Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and CRMs.
* KPI Tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like website traffic, conversion rates, lead generation, and ROI to gauge campaign success.
5. Event Planning & Promotion
* Event Management: Organise and promote events like webinars, conferences, or new launches to increase brand visibility and engagement.
* Award entries: Oversee the entry of Maru programmes and case studies into industry awards in collaboration with client partners.
* Media Relations: Develop relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive press coverage.
* Press Releases & Communications: Oversee the writing and distribution of press releases, company announcements, and other external communications.
Skills & Capabilities:
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term marketing strategies.
* Creativity: Crafting unique marketing ideas and campaigns.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills (copywriting).
* Analytical Skills: Ability to measure campaign success and adjust strategies based on data.
* Digital Marketing Knowledge: Experience with SEO, SEM, social media, and content management tools.
* Project Management: Effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines.
* Adaptability: Ability to quickly adjust strategies based on market changes or emerging trends.
Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role.

Salary range for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 GBP.
