Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a privately owned manufacturer to recruit for a permanent SENIOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT.
Ideally we are looking for an immediate start for this role
· Salary £30,000 to £33,000
· Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
· For this role we are looking for experience in SAGE AND XERO and
ACA/ACCA/CTA/CIMA part-qualification or working towards
Duties to include, but are not limited to:
· Ownership of Sales ledger
· Supplier management and payments
· General Reporting – as required
· Sales ledger: raising sales invoices, statements – Cover for
· Credit Control – Cover for
· Bank reconciliations
· Knowledge of stock control
·. Dealing with any financial queries
· Budget and Cash Flow Monitoring/Forecasting
·. Weekly debtors, creditors, and cash flow forecasting
· Preparation of monthly profit & loss balance sheets
· Financial report management
· Quarterly preparation and review of VAT return – Assist with data for submission
· Year end preparation
· Payroll data collation
· Liaising with the pensions provider and updating pension records including auto-enrolment and on-line reporting to HMRC.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Minimum of 2 experience within a similar finance or accounts assistant position
2. Experience with accounting systems with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Sage or Xero
· ACA/ACCA/CTA/CIMA part-qualification or working towards
T he ideal person will have previous experience Supporting a Financial Controller
And have experience using SAGE and will be able to start ASAP!
