Our client, an award-winning manufacturer and distributor of very high-end products, is looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to join their growing team. This role will cover the North American market. The working hours for this role will be Monday to Thursday 12pm until 9pm and Friday from 9am to 5pm, allowing for hybrid working after the initial probation period.

The Product Consultant Team Leader will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and ensuring the sales team consistently meets or exceeds targets. With a focus on performance, leadership, and exemplary practice, the Team Leader will not only guide the team but also actively participate in sales via their own pipeline.
The Team Leader is responsible for setting and communicating clear sales targets for the team, fostering a culture of accountability and success. This is an ‘in-house’ sales role, conducted mainly by phone, email, and other IT supporting tools. It includes all activities part of the selling process, such as leads management, leads qualification, identification and articulation of prospects’ needs into wood flooring solutions, pricing and quoting to win (and be aligned with margins targets), proactively following the sales process and all activities needed to succeed including resilient relationships with all stakeholders involved, closing the sales and agreeing all the terms and conditions, ensuring the orders are invoiced and shipped in a timely manner, and other similar activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Actively maintain and manage a personal Sales Pipeline, demonstrating best practice and providing a real-time example of effective Sales Techniques.
* Inspire and motivate the Sales Team by leading through example, offering support, coaching, and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
* Regularly assess individual and team performance against targets, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for growth.
* Organize and facilitate training sessions to equip team members with the tools and knowledge they need to excel.
* Develop and implement Sales Strategies that align with organization goals, ensuring the team is focused and effective.
* Build and nurture relationships with customers, demonstrating the importance of customer engagement and satisfaction.
* Prepare and present weekly & monthly Sales Reports to Senior Management, highlighting success, challenges, and strategic insights.
* Foster an environment of productivity utilizing our CRM system and other tools.
* Responsible for translating, predicting, and shaping trends into product development.
Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
* MS Office Suite, use of Excel, Word, emails.
* Ability to use CRM systems effectively.
