Due to the expansion of the qualification and product offer at 1st4sport, we are looking to recruit additional subject specialist associates to support qualification development, assessment development, exam writing, exam marking, EPA assessment, EPA Internal Quality Assurance, Qualification Moderation and Centre External Quality Assurance across 1st4sport qualification areas. Further detail on the products we offer can be found on the 1st4sport website (www.1st4sport.com) As part of your application, you must identify both the roles you would like to be considered for allocations and the specific subject groups you have expertise in. If successful, you will be required to provide evidence of qualifications and experience stated below. Role Specialisms Please identify all of the specific roles you would be interested in holding allocations for within your subject specialisms in your covering letter. Qualification Development – To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on) in qualification development activity you must have experience within qualification development activity (creating units, assessment strategies, subject content expert checking etc) within the last 5 years and meet the subject specialist requirements below Exam Writing– To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on in exam question writing activity). You must have experience of exam question writing and specific subject specialist delivery experience within the last 5 years Exam Marking – To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on in exam marking activity). You must have experience of exam marking or specific subject specialist delivery experience within the last 5 years EPA Assessment - To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on in assessing end point assessments). You must be working towards or hold an assessor qualification, have a good knowledge of EPA and have experience of assessing the specific subject specialist area within the last 5 years EPA Internal Quality Assurance - To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on as an IQA for end point assessments). You must be a qualified IQA, have a good knowledge of EPA and have experience of IQA within the specific subject specialism within the last 5 years Centre EQA (Face to Face visits) To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on as a Centre EQA). You must be a working towards or hold an EQA qualification and have experience of IQA within the specific subject specialism within the last 5 years Qualification Moderation (Remote Activity) To be involved as a subject specialist (within the subject specialisms you identify later on as a moderator). You must be a working towards or hold an EQA qualification and have experience of IQA within the specific subject specialism within the last 5 years Endorsement – Allocations (within the subject specialisms you identify later on) for non-regulated endorsement applications and monitoring visits. You must hold an IQA qualification and have experience of delivering, assessing or IQA within the specific subject specialism within the last 5 years Subject Specialisms Please identify all of the specific subject groups you meet the below requirements for and would be interested in holding allocations for within your covering letter. Please note, it is not expected that would cover all of the products within the subject group Equine (including equestrian sporting excellence, horse racing and equestrian coaching) Coaching (including coaching, PE in School Sport, Activity Leadership (Including Youth work, Outdoor Activity and/or leisure management) Health, Leisure and Fitness (Including fitness training, spectator safety and/or first aid qualifications) Performance (sporting excellence across sports) Education and Training (teaching, assessing and IQA qualifications) To be eligible to hold allocations in the subject area, you must meet the above role requirements and have technical expertise and knowledge for the subject area, this is measured by providing evidence of: • occupational experience working/volunteering within the sector in the last 5 years (being an IQA/EQA in the subject area is not sufficient for this point, it should be subject specific experience on the ground) • evidence of being qualified in the subject area (there is no time limit on this with the exception of first aid which must be a current first aid at work certificate or a recognised HPC as per the FAAOF and HSE requirements) • evidence of regular and recent subject specific CPD • general experience in quality assurance within the last 5 years (assessor, IQA or EQA) or qualified EQA (role dependent) Pay - This is a freelance role so you will be paid depending on the activities you complete
