About Our Role - this is a key role Make no mistake this role matters You will be at the heart of the Depot team dynamic responsible for supporting how we ensure the safe and efficient running of our operations at Depot level, supporting our highly trained engineering and support teams to do what we do best - deliver the power our customer needs, whenever and wherever they need it from the construction industry to powering some of your favourite music and sporting events. What you'll be doing Key to our success is the smooth and efficient day to day running of our depot engineering and logistic operations - you will be involved and take the lead on stock control/conditioning/proper placement/storage, forklift driving (our generators are mighty fine pieces of kit), valeting of equipment, checking and preparation of equipment, setting the standard of depot presentation and organisation and general housekeeping, with safety at the fore front of your mind at all times. You will also be in constant communication and collaboration with your colleagues - our Depots are a hive of activity and the coordination of activities is vital. Deliver daily and weekly key tasks and KPIs covering timing, quality & standards Working with the team and with the greater good in mind, you'll prioritise and coordinate your workload, and ensure that your Depot is the benchmark for others to aspire to. You'll also help save the planet by driving our environmental waste credentials. What you'll bring as a Rockstar in the role A "can do" approach with an eye for organisation and detail Great communication skills which are engaging - you are a positive force A drive to achieve high standards - it's the day to day stuff that matters Be considerate and kind - someone who strives for the greater good and thinks of others Experience in the power engineering and/or hire sector or similar A thirst to learn and progress - this is a great stepping stone for the right rockstar. Preferably a forklift truck license but not essential as we'll train you as part of our approach to development What we can give you Monday to Friday, no weekends 40 hours per week, with overtime Career development opportunities - yes - we are serious.
