Hospitality Assistant at Statham Manor Care Centre - Full time Permanent

Our stunning new home, Statham Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built care facility situated in the picturesque village of Lymm in the heart of Cheshire. The home is registered to provide care to 66 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential and nursing care. We provide the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care to residents. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care, and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand-selected for their warmth and passion, and they receive a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. New Care has not used agency staff for over 4 years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care from staff that residents know and trust. Across New Care, all of our staff are paid the national living wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team. The role involves ensuring that residents and visitors receive an efficient food service while maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room and server at all times. We have a full-time contract available with an hourly rate of £11.44! Shift times are 08:00-19:00, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure high standards of hospitality service.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as per company HACCP.
5. Adhere to all training provided.
6. Ensure records and reports are properly written up.
7. Promote safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
2. Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
3. Ability to effectively communicate with other team members.
4. Willingness to participate in activities organised in the Home.
