Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide Occupational therapy to schools as part of the BCHC Plus traded service.
2. To provide highly specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment to meet the agreed goals of children, families and schools.
3. To work as part of multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver highly specialist interventions according to the agreed need.
4. To develop and maintain effective working relationships with parents/carers and other stakeholders, using highly developed negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
5. To maintain, develop and promote excellence in clinical practice within the specialist area of the service, with reference to current research and evidence-based practice.
6. Demonstrate clinical leadership and represent the Traded BCHC service in all appropriate meetings to support the planning and development of quality services across the city.
7. To contribute to the identification of training needs of team members and other professionals and deliver training in the highly specialist area.
