An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a logistics company based in Hounslow. This role is offering excellent progression and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide essential financial control and planning for the business unit.
2. Maintain the financial oversight for the business units.
3. Complete month-end process for multiple locations in finance systems according to reporting deadlines.
4. Prepare weekly flash, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
5. Provide analysis of opportunities and risks for sites.
6. Ensure compliance with company internal control procedures.
7. Proactively engage with site managers from different sites and divisional management to enhance understanding of their respective financials and assist in optimizing financial performance.
8. Conduct weekly business review calls with management and sites ensuring key financial areas are monitored and variances challenged.
9. Prepare monthly customer reporting.
10. Generate and present a range of financial and ad hoc reports for use by both internal and external customers.
11. Assist with pricing proposals for new customers and preparation of capex papers.
12. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis.
13. Assist in financial analysis for new projects.
Requirements:
1. Part or fully qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in logistics or energy sectors.
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
