Ashley Kate are excited to be recruiting for our well established, manufacturing client to cover a period of Maternity Leave. They seek a HR Manager/ Business Partner to be based at their Melton site (hybrid) for a minimum of 12 months.
The role will report into the global HR Director, with 1 direct report, and work alongside a wider HR team. Partnering with the senior leadership team and a wide range of stakeholders within the business, This role will manage the overall HR function. This is a fast paced unionised environment, offering a variety of both strategic and operational responsibility.

The role:
*Working with the Directors to develop HR strategy and initiatives
*Supporting and guiding Managers and Directors with day to day HR issues and employee relations
*Reviewing, developing and implementing a wide range of new policies, procedures and processes.
*Talent management and succession planning.
*Review, develop and lead in all Recruitment & Selection activity
*Lead in Change management projects focusing on the business structures, redundancy and consultations
*Analysing HR Metrics and reporting to SMT
*Oversea payroll
*Union negotiations/communications
