An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust's Forensic Services. The successful applicant will be appointed to support the Humber Centre and Pineview wards as a Ward Clerk.
The post holder will work as an essential member of the admin team and support in delivering an effective, efficient, responsive and high-quality service.
Providing administrative support to clinical teams and support services within standard administrative procedures.
You will contribute to the planning and development of the service/department as a member of the Forensics Admin team.
Main duties of the job

Core Functions
1. Provide admin support to non-medical staff in the day-to-day running of the ward.
2. Checking/ordering ward supplies, stationery, and goods using Oracle.
3. Physical exertion/moving and handling.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge within administrative services within the NHS experience.
Experience of admin processes
* Knowledge of administrative processes and systems, some of which are non-routine and non-routine activities such as answering queries, progress chasing, and task-related problem solving which can be acquired through experience and training to vocation level 2 or equivalent.
* Experience of using Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Experience of utilising electronic clinical record keeping systems.
* Experience of working within a secure setting.
* Experience of using Oracle stock ordering system.
Skills and competencies
* Basic keyboard skills.
