Position Summary
We are seeking an Online Analyst with a strong passion for data, eCommerce, and analytics to join our Optimisation and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and an inquisitive nature. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and consistent online reporting for the UK&I region by utilizing analytics tools, dashboards, and dynamic reporting solutions. You will collaborate with UK and Global teams to align UK reporting across regions. Additionally, you will work closely with online and digital marketing teams to troubleshoot issues, find solutions to common problems, and stay informed about the latest industry trends.
What This Role Does
* Monitor and analyse online daily sales and KPIs across all brand.co.uk websites.
* Deliver actionable insights to enable teams to respond promptly to trading opportunities, optimizing revenue generation and customer engagement.
* Identify changes, patterns and trends in online metrics performance.
* Propose data-driven ideas and insights to improve digital performance, enhance user experience, and optimize conversion rates.
* Conduct analysis to identify similarities and differences in online metrics across ELC brand portfolio.
* Deliver comparative insights to highlight learnings, identify gaps and opportunities.
* Provide Google Analytics (GA4) support for tool users within the UK, coordinating with the Global Analytics team on updates, verifying tagging requirements for new features.
* Partner with Enterprise Marketing teams to drive insights into Audience segmentation, Key Events tracking and Channel performance reporting.
* Leverage existing dashboards and analytics tools to monitor performance, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Ensure the data is accurate and timely, enhancing the effectiveness of marketing efforts and resource allocation. Incorporate visualizations to highlight key trends and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with Digital Technology & Experience (DTX) Teams to define new analytics requirements and establish KPIs for upcoming developments and features.
* Proactively identify shift in the market and industry trends, keeping abreast of latest trends and innovations in digital analytics and communicating these regularly with the wider business.
* Provide training and guidance on web analytics tools and methodologies to empower brand teams and functional stakeholders.
* Make updates to Power BI dashboards; ensuring the latest data is reflected, responding to queries and access management requests promptly, and creating visualizations that simplify complex data for better understanding.
* Conduct thorough pre- and post-implementation analysis for new initiatives and projects.
* Use session replay tools, heatmaps, and user behaviour analytics to identify friction points in the consumer journey.
* Highlight issues and provide actionable recommendations to improve site usability and conversion rates.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to analyse and interpret high volumes of data from multiple sources.
* High Proficiency in Excel.
* Proficient in digital analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, with expertise in data collection and tag management.
* Knowledge of SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Looker.
* Capability to develop and automate reports, effectively presenting data insights.
* Results & performance driven mentality.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience working in eCommerce business highly desired.
