Part Time Assistant Accountant, Permanent, Atherstone, £38,000-£40,000 FTEIn this role, you will support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. You will work closely with our other team members to maintain financial records, prepare reports, and assist with our month/year end processesKey Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase, sales and cash ledgers. Process invoices, payments, expenses and receipts. Maintain the purchase ordering system Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies. Support year-end audit processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Provide support to the Financial Controller and other team members as needed.Qualifications and Skills: AAT qualification or equivalent Previous experience in an accounting or finance role. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
