Job summary The Sheffield Liaison Psychiatry Service are looking for outstanding clinicians to join our team. The Liaison Psychiatry Service is currently affiliated with the Psychiatric Liaison Accreditation Network (PLAN) and are working towards accreditation. We received over 5000 referrals (365day/24hrs a day) into our service through in the last financial NHS year. Person centred care is at the heart of our practice and we work hard to support each other through the day-to-day challenges of working in this demanding role. We are firm believers in evidence-based practice and are currently involved in a national research project 'Fresh Start', offering adapted therapies delivered by Mental Health Practitioners to people who otherwise may struggle to access services. Main duties of the job We deliver a high standard of early triage, assessment and follow up intervention to individuals aged 16 or above admitted to the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, working with a range of mental health presentations. Variety is certainly guaranteed in the role and will serve to enhance your clinical skills. Considerationwill be given to bothfull-time and part-time working, the salary will be pro rata for part-time hours.
