This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with a one-hour lunch break (although we do operate a flexible working hours policy and hybrid working).
Minimum Requirements
* IT related degree or equivalent education and experience
* Experience of working in a Windows based environment.
* Knowledge of VMWare, Veeam, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, and Sharepoint.
* Good working knowledge of mobile device configuration, deployment, and management (iPad and Apple Business).
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications. Knowledge of SQL server, Sophos Central, FortiGate FWaaS, MiVoice Business, HP and Unifi network switching/wifi, Microsoft 365 stack, Azure, Endpoint Central Cloud, Autodesk AEC Collection.
* Experience of ZTNA, SASESDWAN.
* Experience with Autodesk / Construction based IT software and document management (desirable).
* Technical experience in networking and infrastructure, Azure, and Mitel phone system.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious IT Manager to join our Team.
* Be responsible for the Practice’s IT and communication systems.
* Manage and develop a small technical team.
* Provide strategic direction to drive IT forward and meet future business requirements.
* Manage the IT budget.
* Deliver efficiencies throughout the Practice, using IT and communication systems.
* Manage the IT help desk, networks, hardware and software deployment, system monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all IT and communication systems.
* Manage cloud services, infrastructure, servers and storage, PCs, Apple Devices, laptops, software applications/licensing, and peripherals.
* Review and develop the use of software for business operations.
* Develop the Practice’s cloud strategy (storage and security).
* Maintain and develop the Practice’s IT and data security, in line with Cyber Essentials.
* Ensure IT systems and procedures are in line with legal and Data Protection requirements.
* Communicate regularly with Directors / Board Directors and all users of IT services and systems.
* Maintain and develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT Team and to end-users.
* Oversee provision of IT Support for 140 employees in 2/3 offices and remote working.
* Oversee the continuous improvement and development of communication between all regional offices.
* Maintain and develop all IT policies and procedures, including those for backup, security, disaster recovery, and service provision.
* Manage 3rd party supplier contracts and service agreements.
* Provide a key link with other IT/software users, i.e., CAD Managers, Data Managers, etc.
* Engage and lead on one-off/special IT-related projects.
* Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new solutions will meet future business requirements.
