What the role has to offer:
* You will be helping to build the next generation of Engineering Environments in the UK using modern deployment methods on a cloud-based platform.
* As an Engineering Environments Engineer, you will work as part of an agile development team, helping to build and support our tooling environment providing an outstanding experience for our engineering teams.

Key tasks/Responsibilities:
* Deploy and support industry leading tools on our cloud-based Azure infrastructure.
* Build or modify deployment solutions where re-use is not possible.
* Identify ways of improving our current processes and remedy through the use of automation.
* Support delivery teams with automated tools and scripts to provision infrastructure resources (compute, network & storage) in a simple and efficient manner.
* Ensure that operational best practices (supervision/monitoring, backups, archives, log management) are implemented.
About you:
Experience with Python, Git, Ansible and Azure or similar is desirable but not essential. Experience in any of the below is a plus:
* Kubernetes
* Docker
* Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
* Jfrog Platform (Artifactory/XRay)
* Polarion
* GitLab
* Linux (RedHat, though other distributions will be considered)
* FlexLM License Server
* BlackDuck
* Klocwork
* Coverity
* SonarQube
Security Clearance statement:
As standard, all successful candidates must possess the permanent right to work in the UK, and will be required to go through Government security clearance at BPSS (Baseline Personal Security Standard) Level prior to starting with us and then to obtain full Security Clearance (SC) in line with the United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) requirements above.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
