In 2002, we became the first insurance comparison site. Our purpose? To make the process of sorting your insurance, utilities or personal finances as easy as possible.
We’re part of RVU. A group of online brands that include Uswitch, Tempcover and money.co.uk. As a group, we use our shared knowledge to empower people, and help them make decisions confidently across a range of household services.
What you'll be doing
This is an exciting opportunity for an SEO Executive to drive organic growth within our Insurance brands (Confused.com and Uswitch).
You’ll be spending your time doing data-driven SEO and collaborating with the wider Content, Product and marketing teams. You’ll be optimising existing pages, creating new pages, and launching new web assets in order to capture ranking traffic to provide an excellent customer experience, while complying with Google guidelines and best practices.

Essentials
* Good understanding of data management, analysis and reporting such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
* Good understanding of SEO tools such as ahrefs, SEMrush and Screaming Frog
* Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the business areas and the wider business.
* Previous experience in SEO and broad knowledge of other digital marketing channels (e.g. PPC, Paid Social, ECRM, Display).
* Ability to work independently and use insight to guide decision making
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to analyse competitor strategies to gain ranking insights and to help prioritise appropriately.
* Ability to analyse and provide SEO and CRO recommendations
* Solid experience of using Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables, etc.) including data visualisation
* Good communication skills and ability to work with a variety of different teams.
Desirables
* Passionate about SEO and willing to throw yourself into continuously learning about the ever-evolving world of organic search.
* Stay up to date with the latest SEO techniques and tools, and share learnings with the team and channel managers.
* A creative problem solver who demonstrates both technical and analytical skills; comfortable measuring, interpreting, and making real-time decisions based on large volumes of marketing performance data.
* A mix of content and technical skills, with an emphasis on data insight led content creation.
