Job Description
Our Health team is growing rapidly within NECSWS. As part of this growth, we are looking to appoint a Screening Director who will act as the strategic leader for health screening software and services within the NEC SWS Health division. This role will be Home Based and will report to the Executive Director of Health.
In this role you will be responsible for all screening product strategies and for the delivery and quality of all the Screening services, both in the UK and Ireland. You will also support the growth of the wider Health business by working collaboratively with other Health Directors and central business teams.
The NECSWS Screening Director's responsibilities:
* Oversee the management of Product Management/BA/Operational screening service teams
* Management of budget, forecasting
* Resource Management and screening throughput management
* Risk management and Clinical risk/safety management
* Maintain the product catalogue and pricing
* Support on Sales activity for Screening, including bids/tenders
* Work closely with Health Director of Operation to ensure software is released to customers on time and to required quality
* Support product & project managers in the initial phases of the delivery process, to ensure our solutions are deployed in line with company best practices and that project obligations of our customer are met.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience of managing or leading on major transformational change projects, or major/national system redevelopment projects in Health
* Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Health sector knowledge, preferably having worked for or with either NHSE/Public Health Wales/HSE or similar bodies
* Strong People management skills – preferably held a Senior management post and vital to have experience of managing large teams/multiple teams
* Strong resource and cost management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals monitoring and control
* Sound knowledge of the sales processes and experience in contributing to complex winning bids
* Excellent communication skills with significant experience of leading dialogue with both senior internal and senior external stakeholders.
* Experience of handling complex HR issues (supported by an HR business partner) UK Law but Irish Law desirable
* Must be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skills for both internal and external stakeholders
* Significant experience of presenting complex ideas simply and effectively to a variety of audiences using formal and informal presentation styles including in diagrammatic form.
* Ability to manage technical challenges from internal and external stakeholders in a persuasive and influential manner.
Desirable:
* Sound all-round technical software knowledge - preferably in Health settings
