Help Desk Technical Support Engineer - Silchester - On site with infrequent travel to customer sites - £30,000 to £35,000 per year
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Technology company to assist with their recruitment of a Help Desk Technical Support Engineer.
The successful candidate will provide enterprise-level technical assistance. This role will be a full-time position based out of their Silchester office.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Technical support to customers via phone, email, or in person
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, software and hardware including desktops, monitors, printers, routers, firewalls and access points.
* Assist with setting up and configuring computer systems
* Conduct software troubleshooting and recommend solutions
* Assisting other team members including communicating company strategies, team goals and project deadlines
Experience/Qualification:
* 3+ years proven experience in a customer facing role
* VMWare ESX, vCentre and/ or Hyper-V
* Microsoft 365
* Sophos, Egnyte and Ubiquiti (beneficial)
* SharePoint, Teams and Intune
* Background of working for an MSP
