HR Advisor (Recruitment) – 37.5 hours per week
Fixed term contract for 18 months with a view to become permanent - opportunity of hybrid working for 2 days a week upon passing probation.
Starting salary £28,826 per annum, with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding to £31,819 on a competency based framework.
Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in recruitment looking for your next challenge? We have a great opportunity for a HR Advisor (Recruitment) to join our small, friendly team.
You will provide a generalist HR service to the hospice as part of the operational HR team providing expert advice and support on all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations and terms and conditions. You will work closely with managers to ensure best practice is followed and help to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
We are currently undertaking a review of our HR processes and would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in data systems and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide general HR advice and support on employee relations, policies, and procedures.
2. HR representative at formal HR meetings including flexible working and absence management.
3. Work closely with recruiting managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert advice on recruitment strategies.
4. Develop and implement effective sourcing methods to attract top talent.
5. Analyse data from the recruitment system and use the information to shape campaigns.
6. Manage recruitment databases and keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with both external recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience as a HR Advisor, with a particular focus on recruitment.
2. Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices, including candidate screening, interviewing, and offer management.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business.
4. A proactive, solution-focused approach to HR issues.
5. CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential).
