Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a global engineering, design & build company who are currently looking to recruit a HSE Manager. The company offers advanced, bespoke solutions for heavy engineering businesses currently employing around 300 heads in the UK.
The role will be based out of Yorkshire (ideally within a commutable distance of Sheffield) on a hybrid basis, but requires flexibility to travel and undertake inspections on construction sites overseas and within UK.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Maintenance of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
* To lead and influence behaviours to change existing culture and move towards a behavioural EH&S system and sustainable business model
* Provision of and monitoring of EHS risks, strategy and plans to ensure the necessary action is taken to meet the outlined requirements
* To conduct internal audits and to lead and participate in external audits
* Carry out and review specific task risk assessments
* Investigate accidents and incidents
* Creation and delivery of toolbox talks
* Monitoring of UK EHS legislation
* Completion of practical training and toolbox talks
I'm keen to speak HSE Professionals with the following skillset:
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or working towards Diploma
* Experience of working with capital and preferably turnkey projects
* CDM Experience
* Understanding of COMAH regulations
* Experience of management systems and auditing
* Product safety experience desirable
