The Job In the Drainage Engineer (CCTV Investigations) role you will predominantly be site-based, undertaking a variety of drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. The engineer requires experience in clearing drains and blockages, confident in completing drainage investigations, making recommendations for repairs and able to complete small repairs. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what works you need to carry out while ensuring you leave them with peace of mind. · Key Requirements Be able to use drainage CCTV survey equipment to conduct reports Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and competency with regard to drainage. The ability to read drawings and drainage schematics is essential Be able to carry out small excavation works if needed Candidates must be IT literate and able to operate dedicated phone apps and reporting software. Be able to approach and resolve problems logically Experience of subsidence and site investigations Experience of working remotely and as part of a team. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions in a drain cleaning environment (all necessary PPE and safety equipment and training will be provided) A can do and hardworking attitude is essential. The Ideal Candidate An OS20X or OS19X is highly desirable Preferably 5 or more years’ experience in the drainage sector. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical data accurately. Strong communication abilities to effectively convey findings, recommendations, and reports. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and guidelines. Other vocational certifications include CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, NRSWA (preferred) A full UK driving license is essential The Rewards Our client provides first class training with continued support from their office and remotely.
