Full Time (£25,000) or Part Time (£25,000 pro rata)
ESPA College, Tasker caters for autistic young people between the ages of 16-25 who are working towards qualifications from Entry Level to Level 2.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and hardworking individual to join the teaching team at Tasker. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with autistic learners with additional needs in education.
The successful candidate would require a PGCE/Cert Ed, or equivalent Level 5 teaching qualification.
The role includes:
• Developing and delivering individualised learning programmes for autistic people.
• Producing consistently high-quality teaching paperwork.
• Working closely with learning support assistants to deliver outstanding sessions.
• Differentiating learning materials and activities to meet learners’ needs.
• Gathering evidence for accredited qualifications and RARPA portfolios.
• Implementing thorough risk assessments that ensure all activities are carried out safely.
• Ensuring that every student is making progress towards achieving their Education, Health and Care plans targets.
• Collaborating with external professionals and contributing to student reviews.
• Working with some learners who may present challenging behavior.
