* E4 (Early Years Level 3 or equivalent): £12,245.05 per annum

An ELAN early years practitioner / assistant is positive, a team player, motivational, flexible, creative, and innovative with a supportive nature, as well as being confident, calm, consistent, and resourceful with experience supporting EYFS pupils in a classroom environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Early Years provision at Windwhistle Primary School working with children aged 3-4 years.

* You should demonstrate a good work ethic and be able to communicate effectively with the people around you, treating both staff and children with respect and care at all times.

* You should bring excitement and fun to the early years setting.
Your responsibilities:
* Work closely with the nursery and preschool manager to resource and adapt planning and support high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects.
* Create learning environments where pupils can expand their knowledge.
* Engage pupils and develop their desire to learn, inspiring them to be confident and independent.
* Provide support and guidance while promoting learning and respect.
* Maintain a calm, patient, and sensitive demeanor to comfort children when needed.
Requirements:
* Have EYFS experience.
* Empathy for and enjoyment of working with children.
* Working knowledge of effective safeguarding practice.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Level 3 or above relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Willingness to engage in training and reflect on personal development.
* Understanding of individual differences and ensuring everyone is respected.
* Self-motivated, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
* Ability to keep calm under pressure and in challenging situations.
* Understanding of disadvantage and barriers to learning.
* Good team player.
