Job Purpose
The Senior Consultant Engineer is pivotal in driving technical excellence and innovation within CS. They play a critical role in designing, developing and implementing high quality solutions for our clients, ensuring these meet client needs and goals. They share their knowledge generously with colleagues and contribute to the growth of our team.
Our engineers are generalists within the area of Cloud Native. Each project will have its own unique combination of tools and technologies but to give you a taste here’s a list of some of the typical technologies we use:
* CI/CD (Jenkins, Argo, Flux)
* Cloud Native deployment (Helm/ Kustomize)
* Cloud/Cloud Native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift)
* Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane)
* Container orchestration, networking, and automation (Kubernetes, Docker)
* Scripting (Bash, Powershell, Python)
* Programming languages (Golang, Java, Ruby, Python)
* Vulnerability remediation and mitigation tools (BlackDuck, Snyk)
This is an external client facing and billable role.

This role is client facing, this means you will use your technical expertise, problem solving skills and utilise advanced engineering principles and techniques to develop and implement solutions in collaboration with or for our clients.

You will make sure that your work meets the highest standard. You will support and consistently review deliverables produced by the team to ensure high quality.

Technical Pre-sales
You may be called upon to support the sales function in a technical pre-sales capacity, helping to translate client requirements into a statement of work.
