About the role
An exciting position has arisen for a Category Planning Assistant to join the MFPE category.
The MFPE Category Planning Assistant plays a key role in supporting the category to deliver the strategy across all channels through space, range, price, promos, activation and proposition development
This role is an excellent opportunity in one of the businesses key growth driving categories.
You will be responsible for
* Support delivery of our multi-channel category strategy (space, range, price, promos), crafting a market leading customer proposition that drives sales and market share
* Be the range champion for MFPE, supporting team to execute inisght-led, impactful range changes in both large stores and express to support Kantar Share target delivery. As part of this you will develop maintain cross-category relationships with the SRM, supply chain and retail teams to ensure alignment with and implementation of the strategy, in line with critical path
* As well as managing the the ranging process and calendar all year round, you will also play a key role in delivering our Christmas product, range and and trade plan
* Keep up to date with market promotional and ranging activity through regular store visits
* Embed new product & range transformation tools within the category to support informed decision making in terms of ranging and trade planning
* Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all training so that you have zero GSCOP breaches.
* Ensuring all supplier agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt, and leading a culture of compliance within my team
