The Role:
As a Paediatric Nurse Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading and supporting a core team of carers, ensuring seamless care delivery to children and young people with complex healthcare needs. You'll be the first point of contact for families, working closely to create individualised care plans and supporting the clinical team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement personalised care plans for children and young people.
• Provide clinical leadership and ongoing training to a team of carers.
• Manage a caseload of up to 15 complex care packages including PEG feeds, ventilators, and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide clinical guidance when required.
What We're Looking For:
• Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC) with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Active NMC PIN.
• Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilators, and PEG feeds (within the last 2 years).
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and supporting HCAs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the West Midlands region.
