We have the perfect opportunity for you to join us as our new Voids and Cleansing Manager First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have an exciting permanent opportunity for a dynamic, customer-focussed leader to join our Property Care team and lead and manage the delivery of a high-quality voids service. You will spend your time leading the service for voids repairs, re-instatement works, property cleansing and waste removal, with particular regard to ensuring these services meet best working practices, are customer-focussed, and provide value for money to FCHO, ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation including CDM. Our ideal candidate: Has a full UK driving licence Has a HNC in Building or equivalent level of qualification Holds a Level 4 Housing management qualification (or willingness to work towards) Has proven experience in managing and leading multi-disciplinary repairs teams to deliver high quality repairs services, ideally in the social housing sector Has an excellent understanding of building maintenance, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements in social housing Is able to manager multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction Has strong budget management skills with a focus on cost control and value for money Has excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, contractors, and colleagues across the organisation Has a knowledge of housing management software and systems Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement Understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrates this by treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably Who are we?
