EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here within our Communications team, we have an opportunity for you to join us as our new Marketing and Campaign Manager, on a - month contract covering Maternity Leave.
Reporting to our Marketing Strategy Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and successfully implementing Severn Trent marketing strategies and campaigns. Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you’ll be working to understand various priorities and challenges, and then creating a comprehensive marketing response off the back of this.
Additionally, you’ll be working closely with the project team on all communication requirements, briefing internal & external agency teams to help support the delivery of campaigns, increasing our brand awareness and driving behaviour change amongst our customers through the delivery of your activity.
Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:
1. Help to deliver brand and behaviour change campaigns to drive business KPIs.
2. Define marketing strategies and plans for specific business KPIs, utilising the full communications mix and engaging with PR, internal and customer teams to align activity.
3. Develop best in class briefs for our internal and external agencies which are based on insight and clearly articulate target audience, objective, and proposition.
4. Establish key metrics and measures for the campaigns which align to the corporate strategy and ensure delivery of the marketing targets.
5. Set up and manage ongoing campaign monitoring including taking remedial action where required to meet company and campaign objectives.
6. Work with the in-house design team, ensuring that we get best value for money and that all work is delivered on brand, on time and to budget.
7. Manage a Marketing Executive and support wider team management.

As our new Marketing and Campaign Manager you’ll join our team with proven marketing experience at a senior level and will be adept at driving business KPIs through marketing campaigns. You’ll be used to interpreting data and insight to create marketing strategies that drive commercial results. You’ll have excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage and influence decision making with key stakeholders.
You’ll have an in-depth consumer and commercial understanding, whilst being a truly strategic and customer-centric thinker with your approach. Ideally, you’ll have management experience as well. We operate in a fast-paced and dynamic setting, so you’ll need to be fluid in your approach and have the courage to hold yourself and others accountable to high quality work, delivered on-time to agreed timescales.
