This role will be responsible for optimizing business results across Expedia’s B2C businesses, with a focus on US. You will help set, track, and forecast performance targets, optimize spend allocation, contribute to the annual strategic plan, develop/improve the team’s playbooks, and interface regularly with executive (VP+) leadership.
What you’ll do:
* Set annual performance targets, linked with strategic initiatives, and reforecast the targets regularly
* Monitor and drive performance towards those targets, including by optimizing spend allocation and by identifying short- and long-term underlying drivers of performance
* Prepare and deliver communications via differing vehicles, ensuring various audiences (including VP+) are reached with the right level of detail
* Establish trusted working relationships with internal stakeholders and build rapport to become a trusted advisor
* Create an environment for team effectiveness, where strengths are known and built upon and learning is shared to build capacity
Who you are:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Master’s degree preferred
* 8+ years of experience in strategy and project execution
* 3+ years of people management experience
* Prior work on insights and decision making, with significant strategic and financial impact for the organization
* Adept problem solver who embeds a test-and-learn and data driven decision making culture
* Very strong analytical and business judgment skills
* Risk assessor/taker
* Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
